Hi, I have a quick question about how user visibility works on Crowdin.
Could you clarify how users are generally discoverable on the platform, and what determines whether someone can be contacted through the messaging feature?
I just want to better understand how this is intended to work. Thanks!
Hi @uraniummedal If you’re a translator who would like to participate in the project as a translator (Crowdin is a localization management platform where people can translate some projects for free, just like volunteers), you’re welcome to explore the available list of projects and pick the one you would like to translate. Managers won’t discover you in Crowdin as a potential linguist
To contact the project manager, you can click the contact button in the project dashboard. If you’re not part of the project manager team, you won’t be able to see a list of the project participants, so you can’t search for and contact them
