I didn’t receive an invitation email for the translation project, the owner of the project said:
When I try and invite that new email, it says it is already invited.
Perhaps you have received the invite. But if not, you may need to speak to Crowdin support.
the issue seems to be that invites time out, but there is no way to resend the invite once it does.

I don’t seem to be able to do anything with Simplified Chinese translations, such as approving translations, etc.

As far as I can see your current role in the NVDA project is translator so you can add translations or upvote existing ones.
I also noticed that Simplified Chinese is translated to 100% in the mentioned project, so maybe this is what confusing you. Even though it is completely translated you will can add your translations.
