Troubles with squarespace integration

Hi,
I used the squarespace integration on the free plan to translate my website.
Everything works, I can see the translations and the language switcher works fine but I don’t see some of the translation or the changes I made after the first time I published.
Is it a crowdin problem or a squarespace problem? What can i do?
(the tag is not coherent with the theme but didn’t know which one to use)

Hello @BFFMantova

Perhaps you’ve initially configured the integration while you were on Freel Trial (test period).

The basic Free plan is limited in terms of advanced features and doesn’t provide access to Content Delivery (CDN), which is required for Squarespace to work.

This feature (CDN) requires a higher plan, like Pro, for example.

Ok, thanks for the reply. In my understanding the free plan was available with 1 integration and under 60k words with no time limit

@BFFMantova

Yes, correct, but Squarespace it’s not a default integration, like Github, Zendesk, or HubSpot. It’s based on Proxy Translator that uses a CDN for work, and the CDN is not available on the Free tier.

Thanks @Dima for your explanation. If I may ask another question, what would happen if I upgraded to pro for a month, so that I can finish my website, and then downgrade back to free? I don’t have constant upgrades, it’s the website of a biennial festival, so I only have to update every so often. Do you think it’s possible to pay the monthly pro when I need it and then go back to free? Will I lose all my translations? Or until I stay under 60k I am safe?
Thanks!

Hi @BFFMantova
You may upgrade to the Pro Monthly plan, finish your translations and then suspend the paid subscription. If you stay on the same subscription limits, you’ll be able to subscribe back to the Free plan. Translations won’t be lost
