This community forum requires tag, but there is no familiar tag to me so I select random one

Title says it. You should either not require tag or set some casual tags which anyone can use, like: issue, request, feedback

Hi there,

Could you please kindly provide more examples and explanation of your request?

Try to create new post on this forum and search for tag field in the web form displayed.

Hi @slrslr,

Thank you for your suggestion! We have forwarded it to the person responsible for the community

Hello @slrslr

Adding at least one tag is mandatory to improve the community search and navigation within different topics. Also, posts become more structured. In addition to this, it helps prevent some spam posts.

The current available tags should cover all popular cases. For example, each constructive feedback is related to some part of the user experience, like file upload, pre translation, etc.

In this case, you can use the “General Question” category + include a Tag that is related to your feedback.

In case some tags are missing, you’re welcome to provide me with a list of them, and I’ll gladly update our tag pool :slightly_smiling_face:

As for issues, there’s a separate category “Crowdin Issues”, you can use it if needed.

For Feature requests, it’s recommended to use this portal:

I am using General questions category in this case, yet it shows some useless (to me) tags like “mk”, “github”. I can see no tag which would be relevant to my “issue”, and since you force me to select some tag, i select wrong tag. That was just my feedback, you do not need to reply and i will continue assigning wrong tags because you force me to select one.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

In case in the future you’ll decide to share some other insights or provide us with some tags you’d like to be included in the supported list, please kindly let us know
