We are working on a project to translate content from DatoCMS. We’ve therefore connected crowdin through API to the DatoCMS project.
We are facing the following problems:
In DatoCMS, in section Media there are images with captions. How can we import media/assets into crowdin, to then translate the image alt texts and captions?
We can successfully sync articles from DatoCMS to crowdin, and translate them. When we try to sync the translations back to DatoCMS, we get the following error message:
It seems that files with an empty modular content field cant be synced back to datocms. How can we solve this?
Internal references or links to blocks/other records in DatoCMS don’t show up in the contact that was synced to crowdin. It’s like in the middle of a sentece, one or more words are missing (words that are internal references/links in DatoCMS). How can we make sure that these get correctly synced to crowdin for translation?
DatoCMS might have a specific way of handling media that isn’t compatible with Crowdin’s default sync process, which might require a custom solution.
Regarding the error message you receive when syncing translations back to DatoCMS, it sounds like there might be an issue with how empty fields are handled during the sync process. Perhaps there’s an extra space, or an extra/missing tag in translation.
As for the internal references or links to blocks, they are not processable for translation (the connector is based on API, so not all things can be transferred via it).

Dear Dima, thank you for your reply. Where can I find the support team email address? Whenever I click on “Support” or “Contact”, whether on our account profile or on the crowdin website, I keep getting forwarded to this community webpage.
Make sure to include the project ID (or project URL), the screenshots of errors you see, and screenshots (or samples) of DatoCMS internal blocks that are not synced. The more details you provide, the easier it will be to troubleshoot
