Segmentation Rule Generator Broken

I wanted to apply a segmentation rule to a single file in my project. So, I went to the Segmentation Rule Generator section, selected “Apply SRX files to project,” and chose the relevant file.

When the process was completed, I went back to my project, and I saw that some of the saved translations in my other files had been deleted.

So, it seems like the rule was applied to other texts as well, or maybe it was a bug.

Now, we’ll have to retranslate those parts.

As you can see, the first and the third file was at %100.

After I wanted to apply the rule to the middle project, they went on this percent and some of the strings are deleted.

Hello @egmnshnky ,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue with the segmentation rule affecting other files in your project. Can you please describe step-by-step on how exactly you apply SRX rules?

Thanks in advance!

First, I went to the “tools” settings section of the relevant project and accessed the segmentation rule generator.

Then, I navigated to the “apply SRX to files” section and tried to apply the SRX file I had previously created to my desired project.

I selected my file and chose my SRX rule. After that, I clicked on the “apply now” option.

However, when I returned to the dashboard, I noticed that some of the translations in other projects had disappeared.

Dear @egmnshnky !

Can you please let us know whether you use any duplicate option? To assist you further, could you please alsi provide us with the SRX rule itself? Additionally, if you could share the source file, it would help us to investigate the issue from our side. Please share all this data directly to support@crowdin.com and we will continue our investigation there!

Thanks,
