Public projects are visible to everyone, and searchable via search engines and Crowdin search. You can restrict access to specific languages after the project is created (the user will need to send a join request before starting actual work).

To my knowledge, I’ve not explicitly restricted access to specific languages for my own project. Is this restriction applied by default whenever I choose the languages for translation?

Is the Join / Invite workflows the only way for translators to participate?
It’s about moderated project joining (Users can join a project only after a request is approved).
So when you click Join on a specific language, this is sent to the manager/owner for review and approval.
