Not sure what exactly this role does, looks like a new one. Can someone provide some details? From description it’s just a proofreader role.
It’s like a proofreader pro+. From my point of view, those people are needed to invite and accept invites for new translators, and they can do this because have special permission to invite.
Also, to control proofread process and promote active translators to proofreaders as well.
They are not like a managers, and they shouldn’t be. They just coordinate the process of language they are assigned, like a language leader or so. Overall management is still in managers hands.
