Hi, I’m looking for a solution like in MS Word for example, when you using find a phrase and them replace it in all text you have, in each and every sentence.
Maybe with a shortcut or so. I’d like to do this in Crowdin’s Editor, but can’t find such an option.
Perhaps you could share some examples? You can send the screenshots and the link to the project to support@crowdin.com for security purposes, if needed
Thank you for your response.
I work on a project with pretranslations which I have to edit. It seems the search does not work for unsaved and unconfirmed segments. But I would like to replace the initial pretranslations which are already in the target segments and THEN save and confirm those segments.
Search works for each saved segment, regardless of approved status. It will not work for unsaved segments since technically, they are saved in your account only, at the cache level.
If you need to remove the pre-translation, you can bulk delete the suggestions from the editor and then add new ones.
If you have any trouble with this process, feel free to share the screen record of your steps with us (send it as an attachment to the email) so our support team can review it and provide a solution.
No, I don’t want to remove pretranslations. I simply want to replace some parts of them and then save the translations. I don’t want the initial unsaved pretranslations to be included in the project TM.
If you made your pre-translations using MT - they are not getting saved in TM before approval. So you can use “Replace in..” option, make your adjustments and approve the translations, saving it in TM.
All other translations, made manually or via AI, are being saved in TM without approval.
