When I localize into French, I’ve been using a typographic apostrophe (’) because it looks better on my Help web ́page than a plain apostrophe ('). But all of the machine translations that Crowdin proposes uses the plain apostrophe, and when I correct it to the typographic version, it tells me that Spellcheck fails on those words, e.g. “c’est-à-dire qu’il n’a”. I guess I can post-process the translations to fix the apostrophes and make them typographic, but is there a better way to handle this issue with Crowdin?

I’m a French translator too and the only way I found to incorporate them is the ALT shortcut +0146…
Is this the same for you? Or do you know if there’s a way to change some settings so the apostrophes are automatically typographic?

You can use the Character Picker directly in the Editor to insert symbols directly to the translation field:
I just use plain apostrophes within Crowdin, and (depending on need) try to post-process the translations afterwards to change to typographic quotes.
