Formatting code glossary terms

I’m trying to add glossary terms for Minecraft’s formatting and color codes:

I’ve added a couple, but they’re not recognized (not underlined with a tooltip in the editor); I suspect this is because a space doesn’t separate them from other words.

I’ve tried changing the “Part of speech” and “Type” settings for the terms, but I haven’t found a combination that works.

Here’s a string that has formatting codes:

Is there a way to get this to work?

Hi @supersaiyansubtlety , could you please kindly share your glossary file and record the video for us with all the steps on how you upload it, configure it and open in the Editor?

The glossary is here (not sure if others can view it though):

I tried to follow this to download it:

However there’s no download option for me:

Hello @supersaiyansubtlety

It looks like the original string belongs to a file for translation (eu_us.json), not a glossary file, and it looks like this string contains no terms. Please make a short screencast so can follow your actions step by step.

As for downloading the glossary, it can be done from the Glossary tab, 3 bullets near the needed glossary

Thanks, I was able to download it; I’m not allowed to upload csv files, so here is the contents in a paste:

The string I link to in the OP is one that contains “§n” and “§r” which I’m trying to create terms for, but they’re not recognized as terms in that string.

Here’s a video of how I navigate to that string in the editor (google drive link because I’m not allowed to upload video files):

Also, this error message was displayed when I tried to include the same link to the string from the OP:

The message does not match what the error was, and it would be helpful if the error message included which link caused the issue.

Hello @supersaiyansubtlety,

Unfortunately, it is expected behaviour. Due to technical limitations currently, it is not possible to handle the formatting directly in Crowdin. In some file formats such as XML, XLF for example the following formatting is supported: <b> text <b>

Alright, thanks for the answer
