Exported String Catalog (.xcstrings) uses wrong Portuguese language mapping

In the Xcode project I use Portuguese (pt) and Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR). When I use XLIFF, the language identifier in the document’s content is pt. When I use the new String Catalog (.xcstrings) format however, the resulting file uses pt-PT internally, which Xcode treats as a distinct localisation.

I have checked the language mapping settings in Crowdin. Changing both locale (which defaults to pt-PT) and osx_locale (which defaults to pt) for Portuguese to pt has no effect on the exported String Catalog file.

Language mapping settings:

XLIFF:

I am using other languages too, but only Portuguese seems to have a different behaviour.
