Greetings. Over the past few weeks, I have noticed that I no longer receive email notifications whenever new strings are added to the projects I am subscribed to.
I have checked my account settings, and the New Strings option for email is turned on, but locked (I am a free user). I do not use the Crowdin App.
I have also double-checked with other colleagues of the latest project to receive new strings if they received the notification email, just to verify that the project had the relevant setting enabled, and sure enough, they have sent me visual proof that they received their emails. Meanwhile, I still receive no new string notifications from Crowdin.
Can you kindly check your account settings → notification tab? Please ensure that all projects have “All notification” enabled + in Global account settings you need to turn on the Email checkbox (it would be about all other checkboxes)
I have checked all the projects and only one project was tagged as “Mentions only”. All the other projects, including the ones I was keeping an eye on with the proof I mentioned before, were marked as “Global”. I do not see a “All notifications” setting.
My client was not blocking your emails (as my verification/password reset emails still appeared in my Inbox), but all the new Crowdin Community emails were thrown to the Spam folder.
EDIT: It appears that one of my projects was updated today and the New Strings email did reach me. I’ll still wait until the project I was manually keeping an eye on updates its strings before considering this issue solved.
Hi @IlDucci , great to hear that you’ve received notifications about new strings and, sure, you’re welcome to share updates about the second project. Also the owner/manager of the project should enable the notification for users about new strings in the Project settings:
