I’m assuming this is the wrong place to ask this. But because of the pop-up I’ve been directed here. I have tried messaging several project members of a project I would like to join. I couldn’t find a “join” button so I didn’t think messaging would be not permitted. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong.
Hello @chickenchaff,
Not all Crowdin projects are open for public contribution. If a project does not have a “Join” button, it means the project is private, and you can only be added by a project manager or owner. Here is the difference between private and public projects:
Public projects can be found via search engines and Crowdin search. Crowdin users can join public projects without approval if the Moderated project joining option is disabled.
Private projects can’t be found via search engines and Crowdin search. Only the invited users can join the project.
