Cannot invite members

Hi, I’m on a free plan and I’m testing the tool a bit. I created a private project and, under Settings/Project visibility, it sounds like I should be able to add Members:

Public project
Visible to everyone. You can restrict access to specific languages after the project is created.
Private project
Visible only to the invited project members.

However, the Invite button under the Members tab is stil grayed out and I cannot click on it and invite others, i.e. a couple of colleagues to test a few things.

Is there something wrong, or what do you mean with “Visible only to the invited project members” if I seem to be the the only possible Member? :upside_down_face:

Thanks!!

Hi there,

If you have a Crowdin Free plan, you can invite members (like translators) only into Public projects.

Public visibility means that anyone with a link to the project can see it and send a join request. If project is private, any use who is not a member will see “404 not found“ page.
