We’re having a consistent issue where translators that I have invited via their email are unable to create an account in Crowdin. When they click the invite link I sent to their email from Crowdin, it says “This email has already been invited”. I’ve tried cancelling their invitation and resending it, but the same issue occurs. This has happened to three invited translators now. Is this a known bug in Crowdin? Any recommendations on how to fix it?
Hi @Scott_R,
Invited users can get this error when they try signing up from the main page, and not via the invitation link that was sent to them. Could you please contact us via email (support@crowdin.com) and share the email addresses of the translators? Please also ask them to record a short video of their steps.
I suspected the same thing. All three said this happened when they came through the invitation link that Crowdin sent them, they did not go through the main page. We retried it multiple times. I did finally find a workaround - I deleted their invitations and didn’t resend them, and then they were able to sign up for Crowdin via the main page, find our project, and request access.
Hi Scott!
We are glad to hear that the workaround from your side solved this!
If you encounter any further issues or have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help ensure a smooth experience for you and your translators on Crowdin.
