I’m stuck with this issue: Suppose that a string has two suggested translations on Crowdin-“A” and “B”, and “B” is the current / most updated translation (but not approved yet).
If I upload translations via an offline file (excel or xliff) in which I translated that string into “A”, will “A” become the current / most updated translation instead of “B” on Crowdin?
It depends on the settings and the authorship of translations.
If all translations and translations uploads are done by you, then uploaded translation A won’t overwrite current translation B
If some translations/translations upload are done by some other users, their uploaded translation A won’t overwrite translation B but will be shown as one more translation suggestion in the Editor
The only way to overwrite the existing translation B by translation A during the translation upload is to use the option Approve added translations during this process
